Wedding Cakes

Every cake we produce is custom-designed based on the theme and elements of YOUR event, not someone else’s.

The minimum order for custom wedding cakes is $700.00 although most clients spend around $1500.00 for the bride’s and groom’s cake combined. There is not a set price list as each cake and client has a different cake style and design.

For budgeting purposes only, here is a guide on our per person averages for the most requested cake designs (which are showcased throughout the website).  $200 base PLUS:

  • Classic Buttercream with Scrolls/ Ribbon/ Decorated Cupcakes – $3.95+ per person
  • Martha Stewart Style/ Trendy Magazine Cakes – $5.75+ per person
  • TV Show/ Platinum Wedding Cakes – generally start at $9.00+ per person
  • Groom/ Secondary Cakes – approx. 50% of the wedding cake, unless sculpted/3D – custom quote

Please note: We cannot provide quotes online due to the amount of time it takes and the number of inquiries we receive.

    • All of our custom celebration cakes are made with the same recipes and quality and attention to detail as our wedding cakes, just on a smaller scale.

    All custom party cakes, including mini wedding cakes, start at $150.00 and up. Cookies, non-decorated cupcakes, and petit fours start at $2.00 a piece and up. These are online ordering only.

    About Me

    I recently graduated with a Master’s degree from Texas State University. I work as an event marketing coordinator by day, and I run Haute Cakes Couture Desserts as a full business every other free minute.

    I am a self-taught, licensed, cake decorator,and have won several cake decorating and sugar art awards. This blog is a behind-the-scenes peek at launching a cake business. I’ll talk about everything related to cakes and business. There will also be some fun giveaways thrown in.
