This cake was especially fun to make because it was for my friends Amber and Ben. They got married in California and decided to have a Texas, bed and breakfast retreat/ reception.

Amber gave me free reign on her cake, so I chose to style it after the wedding invitation, which had a very natural, tree branch theme, accented with brown, green, and turquoise.

This cake is the perfect accent for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday’s, or even Mother’s Day.

This cake features a Cornelli Lace design, which is simply a series of random, connecting scrolls.

It is easily customized by changing the color of the icing, and adding the topper of your choice. In this cake, we provided the topper, which was a silk floral bouquet and a custom note for the bride.

This cake was for a couple that shared the same birthday month and it was also their wedding anniversary. To celebrate the occasion they wanted a cake that incorporated all of those elements.

Together, we came up with this cake that was based off of the colors and design of the party invitation.

Here is another photo from one of our clients that selected the Simply Elegant Budget cake for her wedding in Kyle at Texas Old Town. This cake was super yummy: Italian Cream with Cream Cheese Pecan Filling. This flavor is not part of the traditional package, however upgrades are always available with any cake.

This design is the same as the design posted a couple of weeks ago, but the addition of fresh flowers makes it look like a completely different cake.  That’s what is so great about this line of semi-custom cakes; you can still stay under a certain price point, and design it to match the look and feel of your event!
